Animix ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data within the Animix mobile application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following types of information:
Personal Information
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
Profile Information
- Profile picture
- Seller verification images/videos
Listing Information
- Pet details, images, and descriptions
- Location (for listings and delivery support)
- Contact details provided by users
Verification Information
- Government-issued ID (for seller verification where legally required)
Payment Information
- Transaction details (processed securely via Google Play Billing and Razorpay)
- We do not store full card or banking details
Usage Data
- App activity
- Favorites and saved listings
- Basic device information (such as device model and OS version) for app performance and security
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our services.
- Verify seller identity and prevent fraud.
- Process payments and bookings.
- Communicate with you about listings and transactions.
- Improve and personalize your experience.
- Enforce our terms and policies and comply with legal obligations.
3. DATA SHARING
- We share necessary information between buyers and sellers to complete transactions.
- Payment data is processed securely by Google Play and Razorpay.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We may share data if required by law or authorities.
4. ADMIN ACCESS & MONITORING
Animix administrators access the https://animix-admin-pannel.wasmer.app/ dashboard to:
- Verify Seller identities using uploaded Government-issued ID documents (where applicable).
- Review and approve/delete listings and verification videos.
- Manage user accounts and handle fraud reports.
- Monitor and process payment refunds via Razorpay transaction data.
Animix administrators may access and review user data for the following purposes:
- Verifying seller identity and KYC documents
- Approving listings and ensuring platform safety
- Monitoring transactions and preventing fraud
- Handling user reports, disputes, and support requests
This access is strictly limited to internal administrative purposes and handled securely.
5. DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Payment transactions are handled securely via trusted providers, and we regularly review our security practices.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access/update your info, request a copy of your data, opt-out of marketing, or request deletion of your account and data.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days. Transaction records may be kept for legal and tax purposes.
8. PAYMENTS AND ADVERTISING
- Service Payments: Physical services (like grooming) are processed via Razorpay.
- In-App Purchases: Digital features (listing boosts) are processed through Google Play Billing.
- Advertising: We use Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s Advertising ID for personalized ads. You can opt out via device settings. We do not control data collected by Google AdMob, which operates under Google Privacy Policy.
9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Animix uses trusted providers including Razorpay, Google Play Billing, and WhatsApp OTP providers. These services process data according to their own privacy policies.
These third-party services may collect and process data independently under their own privacy policies.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Animix is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect info from children. If identified, we will delete it promptly.
11. APP PERMISSIONS
- Camera: To capture photos/videos for listings and verification.
- Photos/Media Access: We use Android's secure Photo Picker to allow users to select images and videos without requiring full storage access.
12. GOOGLE PLAY COMPLIANCE
Animix complies with Google Play policies. All digital purchases use Google Play Billing. No external payment methods are used for digital goods.
13. ACCOUNT DELETION
Users can delete their account directly within the app through the profile settings.
Once the account deletion request is submitted, all personal data will be removed within 30 days.
Some transaction data may be retained for legal and tax purposes.

14. REFUND POLICY
1. SUBSCRIPTION REFUNDS
- Weekly/Monthly subscriptions: No refunds after activation.
- You can cancel anytime, but no prorated refunds.
- Technical issues preventing service: Contact support within 48 hours.
2. BOOSTED LISTING REFUNDS
- Refunds only if boost didn't work due to technical issues.
- Request within 7 days of purchase.
- No refunds for low engagement or views.
3. SERVICE BOOKING REFUNDS
- For services booked through Animix:
- Cancellation by customer before service: 50% refund.
- Cancellation by customer after service started: No refund.
- Service provider cancels: Full refund.
4. PAYMENT PROCESSING
- All payments are processed by Google Play/Razorpay.
- Refunds are processed by respective providers within 5-7 business days.
- Refund amount credited to original payment method.
5. DISPUTED TRANSACTIONS
- Report unauthorized transactions immediately.
- We'll investigate and process appropriate refunds.
- Provide screenshots and details for faster resolution.
6. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

- Include: Order ID, Purchase ID, Reason for refund.
7. EXCEPTIONS
- No refunds for:
- Change of mind after subscription activation.
- Listings removed for policy violations.
- Completed services.
